What is Pranic Healing?
Prana - From the Sanskrit, an, meaning "movement" and "to breathe," and pra, meaning "forth," prana means “breathing forth,” and refers to the idea that vital or life force energy is always dynamic.
Prana is, therefore, often understood in relation to the physical body and health and wellness through the chakras. It is thought that when someone is well and balanced, prana flows freely through the seven major chakras. However, when there are blockages or imbalances, they may manifest as physical or emotional issues.
Pranic Healing is a practical, effective, touch-free energy healing modality that facilitates the flow of energy to create healing and good health. It removes blockages of stagnant or diseased energy and restores with fresh prana for balance and to stimulate healing. It was developed by Master Choa Kok Sui, a Filipino of Chinese descent, after research in the 1970’s and 1980’s into esoteric healing modalities such as yoga, chi kung, Kaballah and many others. He applied a rigorous scientific approach to his inquiries (having trained as an engineer). He set up several clinics in the Philippines to test the efficacy of the laying on of hands, and other healing systems. Each patient received different treatment with their results, or lack of, recorded.
Master Choa used highly skilled, sensitive healers who could see vital life force and the results were recorded by nurses and other medical professionals. He concluded that healing at its most basic level consisted of cleansing and energising – that is, cleaning away blockages and replenishing with fresh new energy or ‘prana’.

Certified Pranic Healing Practitioner, Meg Hart
After being plagued by health issues since childhood, Meg had tried many different healing modalities and therapies, but she still struggled to achieve health and well being even in her ‘30s. She became intrigued by energy healing and discovered a Pranic Healing course that was offered locally. Meg’s study began in 2003 under the tutelage of renowned international Pranic Healer Hazel Wardha (Australia) and then with Janie Harrison (New Zealand). She has successfully completed the three Pranic Healing levels 2003-2005 as well as Pranic Crystal Healing.
Pranic Healing is a non-invasive healing modality where the patient is seated and is only required to be in a receptive mode (open hands and uncrossed legs) in order to receive the healing and blessings.
It is a healing system, not just for physical health, also for emotional and mental wellbeing. Meg looks forward to assisting you on your healing journey.
